Dahan Kosher Caterers opened in 1997 and served the entire Maryland/Washington DC Jewish community, and was the first Kosher Catering Company based in the DC Metro area.
In 2011, Rabbi I. David Bacharach, bought Dahan Caterers from David Dahan, and rebranded the company to Potomac 18. In Hebrew, the number 18 means good luck and the word, chai, means “to long life” thus the name. We still service the same great hotels, unique venues, corporate and social clients. Additionally, we service the entire community, helping them plan family gatherings, Weddings, Bar and Bar Mitzvahs, we love these celebrations! We have planned over three thousand events.
